TractusMed is a Healthcare IT  company led by a team of domain experts in healthcare, life-sciences, IT, pathology, experienced healthcare software engineers, and the renowned designer of the most complex EMR’s and MPI’s in healthcare. The TractusMed team is committed to aggregating all US pathology data into a national anatomic pathology repository to securely deliver patient pathology reports “on demand” to pathologists, physicians, and others who have patient authorization. Based in American Fork, Utah, TractusMed develops innovative and quality products that help improve the quality of individual healthcare.

Richard S. Dick

Dr. Dick  is the renowned designer/architect of complex systems (e.g. EHRs/EMRs/PHRs, largest MPI’s in healthcare), directed IOM’s Landmark study, produced the book that launched our EHR-world of today.  Dr. Dick has a unique blend of education and experience that have brought him international recognition for advancing electronic health record technologies (EHR, EMR, PHR) from multiple standpoints: as a visionary, a designer/architect, and as an industry spokesperson, including guest lecturer at both Harvard and Yale.  Has consulted for over 200 companies including many of Fortune 100 companies and healthcare providers and also internationally for governments around the world. Most recently, recruited by the European Research Council (ERC).

Peter G. Spitzer

Dr. Spitzer has served as a healthcare, life-sciences and IT executive and consultant for over 30 years. He has held the positions of CIO (Texas Children’s Hospital), CMIO (Providence Health & Services of California), CTO and General Manager (Aspeon), Chief Science Officer (Ameritech Health Solutions), Senior VP of Client Services (Clinicomp), VP of Strategic Systems (Dendrite), Assistant Prof. of Pediatrics (Baylor College of Medicine), and Assistant Prof. of Medical Informatics (Tromsø University Medical Center).  Dr. Spitzer served as one of the co-founders of Health Level 7 and of the clinical tract within HIMSS.  Dr. Spitzer has an MD (cum laude) from Harvard Medical School, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from MIT, an Executive MBA from UCLA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Bioelectrical Engineering from MIT.

Daron is a successful business professional with over 25 years of experience in growing, developing and leading small to medium sized businesses to success.  Daron is recognized for his highly developed inter-personal skills with a strong bias for organization and action.  After graduating from Brigham Young University with degree in Finance, Daron went to work for Covey Leadership Center.  While there he was a manager in their accounting department and then participated on an internal consulting team working closely with consultants from Arthur Anderson.  Daron then received his Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior with an emphasis in strategy, mergers and acquisitions and team development.  After graduating, Daron worked at start-up company Digital Gateway for the next 18 years.  Daron had roles in Customer Service, Professional Services, Training, Consulting, Operations, Accounting, Finance, HR, and ultimately became the COO and CFO for the company.

Richard C. Friedberg

Dr. Richard Friedberg is an accomplished and award-winning Senior Executive with more than 25+ years of success in health care, research, biotechnology, and medical devices industries. His broad areas of expertise include healthcare delivery, diagnostics, medicine, biomarkers, compliance, and governance.  Dr. Friedberg’s public sector experience includes College of American Pathologists (CAP), Baystate Health, and the VA Health System. In 2013, he was elected by CAP members in national ballots to two-year terms as President-Elect and President, having been previously elected twice to three-year terms on the CAP Board of Governors. In 2015, he was identified by ThePathologist.com on their Top 100 Power List Worldwide. In 2018, Dr. Friedberg was formally recognized by CAP with their prestigious Pathologist of the Year award. In his time at Baystate Health, Dr. Friedberg served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology and on numerous regulatory and oversight boards.  Dr. Friedberg’s formal academic experience includes medical schools at the University of Massachusetts (Professor and Chair), Tufts University (Professor and Deputy Chair), and University of Alabama (Tenured Associate Professor). He holds an MS in Health Care Management (MHCM) from Harvard University, a PhD and an MD from Duke University, and a BS with Honors from Stanford University.
